Film & Television Apps Performance in Portugal Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, Portugal's film and television app market saw notable trends across the top five applications on a unified platform, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Disney+ experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at around $150.6K in late October and again at $149.3K at the end of December. Downloads showed a significant increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching 16K in the week of December 23. Active users also rose, from approximately 181.8K at the quarter's start to 193.7K by the end.

HBO Max: Stream Movies & TV maintained a stable performance, with revenue peaking at $46.1K in late November. Downloads reached a high of 13.9K in the week of December 23. Active users fluctuated slightly, ending the quarter at about 177.4K.

Amazon Prime Video showed growth in both downloads and active users, with downloads reaching 24.2K in late December. Revenue also increased, peaking at $34.1K in the final week. Active users climbed steadily, reaching 147.8K by the quarter's end.

Crunchyroll saw a consistent weekly revenue trend, peaking at $19.1K at the start of the quarter. Downloads varied, with a high of 2.9K in late October, while active users ended at 16.6K.

Globoplay: Novelas, séries e + had stable revenue, peaking at $18K at the quarter's start. Downloads rose slightly in early December, reaching 1.7K. Active users showed a decline, dropping to 12.8K by the end of December.
